(Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) — The Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculty (APSCUF) today endorsed Eugene DePasquale for Attorney General. The union represents the professors and coaches of the 14 state-owned universities in Pennsylvania.
“APSCUF endorses candidates that believe in a strong system of public higher education in the Commonwealth and share our union values,” said Kenneth Mash, Ph.D., President of APSCUF. “As we head into the many important battles surrounding public higher education, we will need many strong advocates.”
“Throughout my life, I’ve benefited from the support of PA’s coaches and educators, and I’m proud to be one now. Our state college and university faculty are on the front lines of molding our next generation of leaders, artists, scientists and business owners. I’m honored to have their support in this race. As they fight to maintain the state system of higher education, and their right to unionize, I’ll have their backs too ,” said Eugene DePasquale.
This endorsement adds to Eugene DePasquale’s large and growing list of endorsements from across the commonwealth and country.
